Tour of Greece departure from Volos/Anchialos

Departure to Kalambaka/Meteora. You are free to spend as much time as you wish visiting the monasteries perched on the rocky formations before departing for our next stop, Olympos. You can choose to either relax on the welcoming beaches or walk around the traditional little towns with a fantastic view. Departure to Thessaloniki, overnight stay. The second biggest city of Greece offers its visitors a variety of things to do in a warm welcoming manner.

A short tour of the city attractions and enough time to either visit them all or skip some of the following destinations. Departure to Edessa, visit the waterfalls (can be omitted). Departure to Kastoria, the mostiving picturesque lake town in Greece, via Nymfaio (Nymfaio can be bypassed). City tour with the typical Macedonian preserved mansions and a tour of the lake, the short round. Departure to Ioannina for a walk on the lake and the island of Ali Pasha (visit to the island can be bypassed).Departure to Lefkada, overnight stay. In case the wonderful beaches of the island are not among your dominant desires, we can remain in Ioannina.

Departure to Nafpaktos and walk to the old port (can be bypassed). We continue to Ancient Olympia for a visit to the archeological site. Driving by the coast, we arrive at Pylos for a walk at the picturesque port. Next is a visit to Methoni and a visit to the fort and the neighbouring town of Koroni. Upon demand, we can recommend and take you to a beach to suit your tastes. Our overnight stay is in Kalamata.

Passing by Stoupa, Kardamili, Itilo, Limeni, we arrive at Areopolis and the caves of Diros. Upon your demand, we can make a stop at any of the beautiful beaches along the way. After visiting the caves we continue to Gerolimenas for a meal or ouzo snack under the imposing rock and by the sea. We continue to Porto Cayo with the breathtaking view. Continuing along the coast, gazing at the unique blue color of the sea in the area and passing through characteristic stone-built maniatika villages, we end up spending the night in Sparta.

Driving through the olive groves of Laconia, well-known for the local olive oil,we reach Elafonisos for a swim on the famous double beach of Simos. Rejuvenated by the cool waters, we continue to Monemvasia and walk through the stone alleys of the castle or relax on the nearby beach with a view to the rock. We drive up to Nafplio. Discover perhaps the most beautiful city in the country, the first capital city of Greece. Take a swim in the nearby Karathonas Beach and let us take you to the beautiful coves of the Argolic Sea. Continuing our journey, we stop and visit Ancient Epidaurus with the ancient theater known for its perfect sound. Closing the day in Athens.

A short tour around the sites in the city. A trip to Sounio to see the Temple of Poseidon. Next stop Delphi, visit at the museum and archaeological site. Afterwards you may relax at the picturesque seaside town of Galaxidi (can be omitted). Return to Volos.
