On the banks of Lake Pamvotida is a city that remains very picturesque despite its relatively large size. It is worth walking along ite coast next to the old walls, to visit the island on the lake with the house of Ali Pasha, the castle with the fetish mosque and the cave of Perama. Near Ioannina is Dodoni with the well-preserved ancient theater.
